Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Picnic
Have a dessert picnic with someone special – your mom, best friend, child, nephew, partner, co-worker – anyone who likes pie!
Join us in enjoying the first fruits of the summer season. We (co-founders Lindsey & Travis) love pie so much, we had it at our wedding, and we ate it picnic style - on the floor, out of a picnic basket. Strawberry rhubarb is our favorite, and our recipe was a gift from a customer at the diner Lindsey's family owned through most of her childhood. It has a custard filling, and we purchase most ingredients locally: strawberries and rhubarb from Sassafras Farm, eggs from High Bottom Farm, milk from Snowville Creamery, and butter from Hartzler Dairy.
Our traditional recipe is vegetarian, and a vegan option is available. Live music, yard games, and all picnic supplies also provided. Rain date is June 16.
